About The Position

Clarity Care is seeking a Personal Care Worker to join their team in Oshkosh, WI. This is a full-time/part-time position with a salary range of $17.00 - $18.00 per hour. The Personal Care Worker assists clients with personal cares, basic housekeeping, and client-specific duties, contributing to exceptional people and extraordinary care.

Requirements

Must be a certified Personal Care Worker, or have previous experience providing personal cares and ability to successfully complete Personal Care Worker Orientation.
Must possess a high school diploma/equivalent and/or related work/life experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid WI driver’s license.
Must be able to meet agency driving standards.
Must provide proof of auto insurance.
Must pass periodic WI Caregiver Background Checks including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks, and/or that of previous states of residence.
Ability to work well in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Personal Care Work (PCW) certification.
Previous experience providing personal cares.

Responsibilities

Assists clients with personal cares, basic housekeeping, and client-specific duties.
Ensures client safety.
Assists with bathing, toileting, and transfer assistance.
Performs meal preparation.
Conducts cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
Provides companionship.
Assists with shopping and transporting clients.
Runs errands for clients.
Provides hands-on care, assisting with activities of daily living.
Uses mobility devices and practices safe transfer and ambulation techniques.
Completes all applicable documentation related to assigned tasks.
Maintains a safe, sanitary, and welcoming home environment.
Performs housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and making beds/changing linens.
Performs laundry services.
Prepares and serves meals according to nutritional guidelines, menus, and individual dietary needs.
Provides medication reminders.
Runs errands such as grocery shopping.
Spends time with the Member providing companionship.
