About The Position

We are looking for Personal Care Worker (PCW) to join our team in The Metro West region (Werribee, Altona, Sunshine and surrounding areas). Our Personal Care Workers (PCW) in Community, Health and Care provide one-on-one care to help older Victorians live comfortably in their own homes. They help clients stay connected and feel supported by assisting with daily activities, personal care, and community engagement. Focused on delivering compassionate care, our assistants thrive doing meaningful work, knowing that they are valued. With access to training, growth opportunities, and a supportive team, they have everything they need to be self-motivated and resilient while working in a safe environment.

Requirements

  • Completed or currently studying a Cert III or higher in Individual Support or a related qualification. If you have completed the first year of your nursing studies, and have completed your placements, you will be a qualified Care Worker.
  • A genuine passion for caring and ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Respect for all, regardless of background, gender, age, religion, race, or sexual orientation
  • Your own vehicle, current drivers' licence, and car insurance, to drive between clients' homes and drive clients as required
  • Willingness to travel between clients, sometimes up to 4 clients per day, and up to 30 minutes between clients.
  • 3 days of availability between Monday and Friday
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily activities according to their needs and choices
  • Work with clients one-on-one within their home to live their best lives and maintain relationships
  • Assist clients with personal care or domestic duties in their homes
  • Assist clients to keep connected to their communities through activities they love
