This is a PRN position in our inpatient unit in New Philadelphia. Will be cross-trained to work occasionally on our Wooster IPU unit. PRN requirements include 36 hours in a 6-week period (including 8 hours of premium shift coverage - (Friday night shift or Saturday/Sunday shifts, as well as a holiday 12-hour shift annually). We provide superior care and superior services to patients at their end-of-life journey. Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed. The Personal Care Specialist’s Essential Duties Are: We provide superior care for patients and families. Our CNAs are titled "Personal Care Specialist" because they are valued for their expertise in taking care of the patient's personal needs with dignity, compassion and empathy. You could become a Personal Care Specialist that provides quality nursing assistance to patients, assists the family with the care of the patient and works with a team that relies on your input from the close relationship you develop with the patient.
