About The Position

The Personal Care Specialist (PCS) position is a driving position seeing patients in both facilities and homes within the greater Centerville area. This is a Full-Time day shift position, 40 hours per week, with available shifts of 4-10 hours days (8am-6pm) and 3-12 hour days (8am-8pm). We provide superior care and superior services to patients at their end-of-life journey. Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed. We provide superior care for patients and families in homes/facilities. Our aides are titled "Personal Care Specialist" because they are valued for their expertise in taking care of the patient's personal needs with dignity, compassion and empathy. You could become a Personal Care Specialist that provides quality nursing assistance to patients, assists the family with the care of the patient and works with a team that relies on your input from the close relationship you develop with the patient.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant with the State of Ohio preferred
• One year of experience preferred
• Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPNA) preferred within two years of employment
• Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care
• Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather
• Valid Driver's license with Safe Driving Record
• State minimum automobile insurance coverage

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nursing Assistant with the State of Ohio
• Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPNA) within two years of employment
