About The Position

This position involves providing direct personal care to residents, including medication administration, meal preparation, housekeeping, and assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). The role also includes providing transportation for appointments and outings, assisting with the activities program, and maintaining client records. The Personal Care Provider must adhere to all facility standards, guidelines, and regulations, and provide care tailored to residents' individual needs.

Requirements

Must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to read, write and speak the English language in an understandable manner.
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
Must have demonstrated the ability to learn the functions of the job during past employment.
Must successfully complete the Qualified Medication Administration Person training.
Must have and maintain a valid/current Colorado Drivers License.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care to residents.
Administer medications and treatments following physicians' orders.
Prepare and serve meals.
Perform housekeeping duties such as cleaning, washing clothes and dishes.
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
Provide transportation to physicians' appointments or outings.
Assist with the Activities program.
Perform health-care related tasks such as taking blood pressure and oxygen levels.
Prepare and maintain records of client progress and services performed.
Report any changes in client condition to manager or supervisor.
Follow current Federal, State and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the facility.
Provide care as directed according to residents' physical, psychosocial and cultural needs.
