About The Position

This position is with an organization that helps Coloradans empower their independence. The role offers flexible hours and the opportunity for additional income. The pay is $17 per hour and is eligible for Daily Pay, allowing employees to access their earned wages on their own schedule. This job is also eligible for Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act. The organization is seeking individuals who want to make a difference and serve their mission.

Requirements

  • 6 months experience providing homemaker or personal care services
  • Must be flexible and professional at all times
  • Ability to relate professionally and effectively to fellow employees, and program participants
  • Criminal background check and willingness to submit to random drug screenings is required
  • Must be able to perform general homemaking skills
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to make common sense decisions
  • Must communicate effectively
  • Must conduct themselves in a professional manner
  • Must maintain a professional appearance
  • Must respect the confidentiality of each client
  • Must maintain complete and accurate data and client records

Responsibilities

  • Provide light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, kitchen/bathroom/bedroom cleaning, and laundry services.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks.
  • May include running errands or grocery shopping.
  • Assist with personal services such as dressing, bathing, and grooming.
  • Interact and work cooperatively and effectively with clients, coworkers, supervisors, family members, and community referral sources.
  • Perform general homemaking skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Make common sense decisions.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Communicate effectively.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional appearance that enhances the organization's reputation.
  • Respect the confidentiality of each client.
  • Work as part of a team of professionals and help ensure the best use of resources to achieve the mission.
  • Maintain complete and accurate data and client records as required for the program.
  • Complete "ClearCare" which is the timekeeping system accurately and punctually.
  • Demonstrate flexibility.
  • Report important changes observed in the client’s home.
  • Complete incident reports as deemed necessary.
  • Communicate routinely and consistently with supervisors.
  • Deal effectively and calmly with non-routine situations and follow acceptable protocol guidelines.
  • Participate in all trainings and complete additional training as needed (12 hours of training annually is currently required).
