Personal Care Home Administrator – The Terrace Valley View Retirement Community Are you a compassionate leader who is passionate about enriching the lives of older adults? Valley View Retirement Community is seeking an experienced Personal Care Home Administrator to provide strategic direction, daily oversight, and a commitment to person-centered care within The Terrace. In this key leadership role, you will ensure regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and the highest quality of life for our residents—while guiding and developing a dedicated team that lives out Valley View’s mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

  • Personal Care Home Administrator’s License required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of service to older adults.
  • Strong knowledge of personal care home regulations and age-appropriate resident care.
  • Demonstrated progressive leadership experience with a focus on person-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Valley View Retirement Community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations of The Terrace in accordance with all federal, state, and local personal care home regulations.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate services, programs, and activities to ensure exceptional resident care and quality outcomes.
  • Maintain and update policies, procedures, and professional standards of practice.
  • Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies, inspectors, and third-party payers, and oversee plans of correction from surveys or compliance reviews.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and HR Director on personnel policies, job descriptions, and staff evaluations.
  • Participate in department head leadership, risk management, compliance, and emergency operations teams.
  • Oversee budgeting, operational planning, and service development for The Terrace.
  • Provide administrative coverage through rotating weekends and holidays.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, compliance programs, and performance standards.
