About The Position
Covenant Living, a leading nonprofit senior living provider, is seeking qualified Care Attendants to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of older adults by improving their quality of life and providing peace of mind to them and their families. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written, English) with residents and staff.
- Genuine compassion and patience towards senior adults.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to residents in areas of activities, dining services, light housekeeping, and routine activities of daily living.
- Assist residents with daily activities.
- Assist with laundry, bed making, light housekeeping and maintain residents’ room in a clean and orderly manner.
- Assist dietary staff with serving meals in the dining room, ensuring residents’ attendance and observing them while eating.
- Arrange for and deliver meal trays for room service as needed, and return trays to the kitchen when meals are over.
- Serve supplemental nourishment and snacks as needed.
- Be cross-trained to work in all levels of care (assisted living, skilled nursing, or memory care) to provide assistance to residents.
