About The Position

Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community is seeking compassionate, self-motivated individuals to join our Personal Care and Memory Support Teams as Personal Care Attendants (PCA). This role involves assisting seniors with daily living tasks and ensuring their needs are met in a supportive and caring environment. The community's mission is to provide for the spiritual, physical, emotional, and social needs of residents through high-quality facilities, services, and personal care, in a manner faithful to the Bible and honoring Jesus Christ.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (copy required)
  • Previous experience in a caregiving role
  • Must be willing to obtain Medical Technician Certification (upon completion of first 90 days).
  • Project a friendly demeanor
  • Show a desire to help others
  • Accuracy, dependability, initiative and the desire to be a part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living tasks (bathing and grooming).
  • Responds appropriately to resident needs.
  • Promptly answers call bells.
  • Completes accurate and timely records.
  • Follows instructions and reports to med nurse, Unit Manager, and Administrator.
