About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Attendant to provide in-home care and support for clients in Dexter, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and well-being while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Attendant or in a related care-giving role is a plus
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Must be able to pass background checks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with mobility support, including transferring and positioning
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
