About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Care Attendants in Dexter, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their daily living activities, helping them maintain independence and comfort in their own homes.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
- Background check and drug screening will be conducted.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Provide mobility assistance such as transferring and positioning.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Monitor client health and communicate any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
