The PACE Personal Care Attendant II is a valuable role within Franciscan Health. This role provides psychological, physical, and emotional support, and answers questions as appropriate through exemplary teamwork, serving as many seniors as possible with the best quality-of-life in their communities. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED- Required
  • 1 Year- Prior experience working with frail/elderly population- Required
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association- Required
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)- State Licensing Board - Required OR Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) - Required OR Franciscan Patient Care Assistant Program (FPCAP) - Required
  • Must have valid Driver's License and clear driving record
  • For insurability requirements, all candidates must be over the age of 23.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 Year- Healthcare experience as a patient care technician or similar position- Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Respond to participant needs and direct the inquiry to the appropriate party.
  • Maintain inventory supplies, set-up of the care environment, and physically assist PACE participants.
  • Deliver care in multiple settings, including in the home, the day center, the clinic or in transportation.
