The Personal Care Attendant I provides support to participants across all platforms of delivery of care. This role involves assisting in the coordination and preparation of all food services, supporting and assisting center activities, and coordinating the delivery of quality activity programs/activities for all participants. The attendant ensures that the recreational, physical, intellectual, spiritual, and social needs of each patient are met and accompanies/assists PACE participants to and from outside specialty appointments.

Requirements

  • California Food Handler Certificate of Achievement (must be attained within 30 days of employment)
  • A valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the frail elderly (Geriatric) and disabled population
  • Bilingual English/Spanish/Cantonese/Mandarin

Responsibilities
