About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in Rochester Hills, MI. Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting with mobility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Valid driver’s license or State ID is required for the position
- Ability to pass background checks
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar caregiving role is an asset, but NOT required
- Reliable transportation is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support clients with mobility and transferring
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Provide companionship and engage clients in activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition promptly
