About The Position
Griswold Care for the Greater Twin Cities is looking to hire a part-time Personal Care Assistant / PCA to help our senior clients maintain their dignity and independence by providing non-medical care and home companionship. This caregiver position earns a competitive wage of $19-$22/hr. We provide great benefits including health, dental, PTO (paid time off), weekly paydays, and opportunities for ongoing training and development.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Current valid driver's license
- 18 years of age
- Willing to travel up to 25 miles
Nice To Haves
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- 2+ years of home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts.
- We are willing to train you.
Responsibilities
- Provide meaningful companionship and valuable caregiving assistance to senior clients within their homes.
- Prepare meals, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping duties.
- Assist with non-medical elderly care tasks such as feeding and bathing.
- Help clients maintain proper personal hygiene.
- Provide caregiving services to clients with cognitive impairments or dementia.
- Log and submit accurate documentation, noting any changes to clients’ needs or conditions.
