About The Position
Join Senior Helpers of Milford as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) and make a difference in the lives of seniors by helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. This role offers a more relaxed environment compared to facility work, focusing on one-on-one care. We are hiring PCAs in various Massachusetts communities, including Bellingham, Blackstone, Franklin, Foxboro, South Grafton, Hopedale, Medfield, Mansfield, Mendon, Medway, Milford, Millis, North Attleboro, Sharon, Stoughton, Upton, Walpole, Webster, and Wrentham.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation.
- Compassionate attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to pass a CORI background check.
- Dependable, caring, and passionate about helping others.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience.
- PCA, HHA, or CNA experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate one-on-one care to seniors in their homes.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and perform light housekeeping and laundry duties.
- Assist with errands and transportation.
- Provide mobility assistance.
- Monitor clients' well-being and communicate any changes to the office.
- Follow each client's personalized care plan.
