About The Position

Maria Joseph Manor at Maria Joseph Continuing Care Community, known as 'The Home with a Heart,' is seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to support residents' daily lives by providing hands-on care, comfort, and companionship in a respectful and nurturing environment. This role is ideal for individuals experienced in senior care or those looking to start a meaningful career in healthcare, as comprehensive on-site training is provided, and no prior certification is required. The position offers flexibility with openings for part-time, per diem, PRN, and every-other-weekend opportunities, with eight-hour shifts available in both day and night options. PCAs are essential in assisting residents with activities of daily living, ensuring their safety, dignity, and well-being, and building meaningful relationships. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate reliability, compassion, and a sincere passion for helping seniors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and meal assistance.
