About The Position
Clarity Care is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as Personal Care Assistants. This role offers a starting pay of up to $17.50/hr based on experience, with no prior experience or certifications required. Clarity Care is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting individuals with varying abilities to live independent and fulfilling lives. The Personal Care Worker assists clients with personal care, basic housekeeping, and other client-specific duties, contributing to their safety, well-being, and independence.
Requirements
- Must be a certified Personal Care Worker, or have previous experience providing personal cares and ability to successfully complete Personal Care Worker Orientation.
- Must possess a high school diploma/equivalent and/or related work/life experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid WI driver’s license, and ability to meet agency driving standards.
- Must provide proof of auto insurance.
- Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Checks including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks, and/or that of previous states of residence.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- People Person - Customer Service Oriented.
- Hands on Caregiving Experience.

Responsibilities
- Assists clients with personal cares, basic housekeeping, and client-specific duties.
- Ensures client safety, including bathing, toileting, and transfer assistance.
- Performs meal preparation according to nutritional guidelines and individual needs.
- Maintains a safe, sanitary, and welcoming home environment through housekeeping and laundry.
- Provides medication reminders.
- Runs errands such as grocery shopping.
- Offers companionship to clients.
- Transports clients as needed.
