SC (PCA) Personal Care Assistant
About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking compassionate, dependable Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to help elderly and disabled individuals live safely and comfortably in their own homes. As a family-owned agency, we prioritize and support our caregivers, offering a flexible schedule and meaningful work. You will assist clients with personal care, provide companionship, help with light housekeeping and errands, prepare meals, offer medication reminders, and perform routine cleaning. You will also monitor and report changes in client condition and respond to emergencies.
Requirements
- Own vehicle and a valid driver's license
- Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
- Compassionate, respectful, and dependable attitude
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Commitment to following health and safety guidelines

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care (hygiene, dressing, meals)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean home
- Run errands such as grocery shopping
- Prepare meals with client involvement when possible
- Provide medication reminders
- Perform routine cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, bathrooms, etc.)
- Monitor and report changes in client condition
- Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies
