About The Position

Carolina SeniorCare PACE is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to join our interdisciplinary care team. In this role, you will provide hands-on support and companionship to older adults while helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one year of experience working with older adults, seniors, or individuals requiring supportive care.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required.
Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist participants with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal assistance.
Support and participate in daily group and individual activities.
Monitor participant well-being and report changes in physical or emotional condition to appropriate staff.
Assist with meal preparation and participant supervision during meals.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized participant care areas.
Assist with participant transportation needs, including loading and unloading vehicles when needed.
Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and follow participant care plans.
Complete required documentation and charting.
Follow all safety, infection control, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
