About The Position

A Personal Care Assistant provides personalized care and support to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities due to disability, illness, or age-related conditions. Responsibilities may include assisting with personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, running errands, and providing companionship. The main goal of a Personal Care Assistant is to help clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in CPR and First Aid
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, compassion, and empathy
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Physical stamina and ability to lift or transfer clients if needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Standard motor vehicle report and proof of car insurance
• A physical and TB test results
• CNA Certification or must take PCA test with agency
