ComForCare Home Health Care - Burlington Camden is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join their team in Cinnaminson, NJ. Requirements
- Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required
- Must have flexible availability!
- Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to follow care plans and work independently in a home setting
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a Personal Care Assistant, Home Health Aide, or Caregiver preferred
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands and transportation
- Maintain accurate care logs and documentation of daily activities
