About The Position

Join Amada Senior Care as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) and make a real difference in the lives of seniors and veterans by helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. As a caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, non-medical, in-home care that allows our clients to continue living safely and comfortably where they call home.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of previous caregiving experience
• Comfortable working with both male and female clients
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Equipped with reliable transportation
• Willing to travel within a 20-mile radius and surrounding areas

Nice To Haves

• Experienced with Hoyer lifts and gait belts

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Offer medication reminders
• Help with mobility, transfers, errands, and appointments
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• Observe and report changes in clients' conditions
• Encourage independence and support daily routines
