About The Position

UniversaCare is hiring a personal care assistant to care for clients in Bridgeport and nearby towns, Connecticut. This role offers both part-time and full-time schedules. The position involves assisting clients with daily living activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, running errands, and adhering to care plans.

Requirements

• Completion of the background check and health screening required for the role

Responsibilities

• Help clients at home with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
• Prepare meals and do light housekeeping and laundry
• Run errands and go with clients to appointments
• Follow each client’s care plan and report changes to the office
