About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide direct personal care and daily living support in a school-based healthcare setting . This role focuses on supporting student safety, comfort, mobility, and personal needs while maintaining dignity and adhering to individualized care plans. The PCA will collaborate closely with school personnel and healthcare professionals throughout the school day.

Requirements

Prior experience in personal care, patient care, or caregiver role
Ability to work with children or individuals requiring assistance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans, safety procedures, and guidelines
Compassionate, patient-centered approach
Strong observation and reporting abilities
Ability to multitask and follow directions accurately
Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a care team

Nice To Haves

Experience in school-based, pediatric, or special needs settings
CPR/BLS certification (AHA preferred)

Responsibilities

Assist students with personal care activities, including hygiene, dressing, toileting, and feeding as required
Support mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
Monitor and report changes in condition to appropriate staff
Assist with meals and follow dietary requirements
Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment
Follow individualized care plans and school health policies
Provide emotional support and respectful, compassionate care
Maintain confidentiality and comply with safety and infection control standards
Supervise and ensure student safety during school hours
Perform additional related duties as assigned
