About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and compassionate Male Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide one-on-one support to a male high school student in a school-based setting in Ashburn, VA. This role supports the student’s daily academic, personal, and safety needs while following the school calendar.

Requirements

• Male candidate required due to personal care responsibilities
• High School Diploma or equivalent (college coursework in Education, Psychology, or Healthcare preferred)
• Prior experience as a PCA, Paraprofessional, or Caregiver preferred (school or adolescent experience a plus)
• Patient, dependable, and strong communication skills
• Ability to pass all required Virginia Department of Education background checks and fingerprinting

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 supervision and support throughout the school day, including classroom transitions
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as hygiene, toileting, and mobility as required
• Support and supervise the student during meal periods
• Encourage focus, task completion, and positive social interactions
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
• Maintain a safe environment and monitor student well-being at all times
