About The Position
Eminence Home Care is looking for talented Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join their team. The main focus of a PCA is to ensure clients are safe, feel supported, and can remain at home by assisting with everyday needs. This involves following individualized care plans, reporting changes promptly, and demonstrating care and compassion. Experience in home care, healthcare, and/or customer service is ideal.
Requirements
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and TB test.
- Verification of professional references.
- Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
- Assist with preparing meals and feeding.
- Provide medication reminders to help clients stay on schedule.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Assist with light housekeeping.
- Run errands as needed.
