About The Position

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) role in North Grosvenordale / Thompson, CT, is centered on providing compassionate and individualized support to clients who require assistance with daily living activities. Requirements

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working as a PCA or in a similar caregiving role.
CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support clients with mobility needs, including transferring and ambulation assistance.

Provide medication reminders and monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior.
Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ social and mental well-being.
