Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional healthcare or in-home caregiving experience
• Confident assisting with Hoyer lifts, gait belts, transfers, and ambulation
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Current auto insurance
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Willing to travel within a 20-mile radius of their home
• Comfortable caring for both male and female clients
• Able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
• Kind, dependable, and genuinely passionate about caring for others

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Hoyer lifts, gait belts, transfers, and ambulation

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Offering medication reminders
• Assisting with mobility and transfers
• Preparing meals
• Helping with grocery shopping and errands
• Performing light housekeeping
• Encouraging daily activities
• Observing and reporting any changes in a client's condition
