About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring Personal Care Assistants/Companions to assist elderly and disabled individuals in their homes. We offer flexible scheduling and provide training for the right candidates who possess the right mindset and compassion. This role involves providing companionship and assisting clients with various daily living activities.

Requirements

• No experience necessary, we will train the right candidate with the correct mindset and compassion!
• Ability to write, read, and speak English fluently
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal hygiene and getting dressed
• Performing general cleaning duties
• Assisting with eating
• Assist with shopping errands
• Medication Reminders
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the home
• Shopping for groceries and household supplies
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
• Cleaning rooms, halls, and bathrooms
• Emptying and replacing trash containers
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencies
