About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring Personal Care Assistants/Companions in Beverly, Ipswich, Gloucester, Rockport, Essex, and surrounding areas. This role involves caring for elderly and disabled individuals in their homes, offering flexible scheduling where you can create your own schedule. No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided to candidates with the right mindset and compassion. The position offers flexible, self-determined scheduling based on client availability.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal hygiene and getting dressed
• Performing general cleaning duties
• Assisting with eating
• Assist with shopping errands
• Medication Reminders
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the home
• Shopping for groceries and household supplies
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
• Cleaning rooms, halls, and bathrooms
• Emptying and replacing trash containers
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencies
