About The Position

Scenic Living Communities is a continuing care retirement community in Iowa Falls, Iowa, offering several levels of living including independent living, assisted living, short-term rehab, and long-term care. The Personal Care Assistant (Caregiver) is responsible for providing tenant services, including assistance with personal care, social and recreational activities, meal services, and other tasks as needed to facilitate the continued well-being of tenants.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent GED

Nice To Haves

Experience working with the elderly and providing assistance with activities of daily living is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Personal Care Assistant provides personal care services to tenants as assigned and as indicated on tenant service plans.
The Personal Care Assistant assists tenants with medications and/or treatments as indicated in the medication record, as assigned and allowed by regulation.
The Personal Care Assistant assists in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment by providing housekeeping services as needed.
The Personal Care Assistant assists with individual tenant and group social/recreational activities as requested; encourages tenant participation in activities.
