About The Position

Serenity Gardens is a personal care facility located in Kulpmont, PA. We pride ourselves in the care, compassion, dignity, and safety of our residents and employees. We are experiencing rapid growth and looking to expand our team. We are seeking personal care assistants to be part of enriching the daily lives of our residents. The fulfilment and satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this position. If you’re a compassionate, and positive person who loves working with the elderly, then this is a job for you! Previous experience in personal care for the elderly is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate! This job could lead to a Certified Med Tech position for interested candidates.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required by law
• Committed to health & safety
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Positive and compassionate attitude

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in personal care for the elderly
• Previous experience as personal care assistant

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with showering, bathing, dressing, incontinence care, oral care, laundry and transportation to/from the dining room.
