About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1-hour visits specializing in medication setup. This role involves assisting clients with their medication management to ensure proper adherence and support in their daily health routines.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in the state of Michigan
- Experience with medication management and setup
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and provide compassionate care
- Reliable transportation to travel to client locations in Ecorse, MI
Responsibilities
- Provide medication setup and administration during 1-hour visits
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Assist clients with personal care needs as required
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and client progress
- Follow established care plans and protocols to ensure client safety and well-being
