About The Position
Traditional Home Care, a locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable direct support staff to provide one-on-one non-medical care to our intellectually disabled clients. This position requires the use of a mobile device for Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) as mandated by the 21st Century Cures Act. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets and have reliable internet access.
Requirements
- Experience in Home Care
- Current driver's license
- Experience with dementia
- Reliable internet access
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
- Companionship
- Light housekeeping and chores
- Respecting the patient's privacy and maintaining confidentiality
- Assist in providing a safe environment for client
- Meeting individual goals and outcomes
- Taking clients for community outings and activities
- Use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours
