About The Position
Heather Heights is looking for dedicated Personal Care Aides to join their team. The PCAs provide supervision and assistance to residents in a way that makes them feel genuinely cared for. This role is available for full-time and part-time evening and overnight shifts.
Requirements
- Ability to provide care, supervision and assistance to residents.
- Ability to receive and give shift reports.
- Ability to assist residents in maintaining clean and orderly rooms, bathrooms, and personal belongings.
- Ability to provide assistance with personal care functions including grooming, haircare, shaving, nail and mouth care, dressing, bathing, toileting, walking, transfers, and eating.
- Ability to take and record weights as directed.
Responsibilities
- Provides care, supervision and assistance to residents in accordance with state regulations and company policies and procedures.
- Receives and gives shift report for assigned residents to charge person.
- Responsible for changing linens, collecting soiled linens and distributing clean linens as required.
- Responsible for assisting the residents in maintaining their room, bathroom and personal belongings in a clean and orderly manner.
- Provides direction and assistance with personal care functions including: Grooming, haircare, shaving and ordinary care of nails, teeth and mouth, Dressing, Bathing, Toileting, Walking and transfers, Eating.
- Taking and recording weights as directed.
