About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide quality in-home care for clients in South Lyon, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote independence and enhance their quality of life in a safe and supportive environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care, home health, or related field preferred but not required
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass background checks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with mobility, transferring, and positioning as needed
- Support clients with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living space
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor client’s condition and report any changes to healthcare professionals or family members
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and follow safety protocols
