About The Position

WOW! Weekend Personal Care Aide (PCA) Modified Full Time – 30 Hours Weekly Serving the Tri-County Area. We are looking for a caregiver to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for a total of 30-36 hours weekly. We are dedicated to creating WOW moments for both our clients and our team members. Requirements

• Seeking a flexible individual to cover a variety of weekend shifts within the Tri-County area (Dorchester, Berkeley, and Charleston counties)
• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
