About The Position
Caremed Inc. is currently seeking dedicated Personal Care Aides, Nursing Assistants, and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate in-home care services throughout the counties of Amelia, Buckingham, Cumberland, Nottoway, Powhatan, and Prince Edward, VA, and surrounding areas. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy making a positive impact while maintaining a flexible work schedule.
Requirements
- Dependable transportation & attendance
- Professional and compassionate attitude
- Strong communication skills & customer service
- Ability to successfully complete background screening requirements
- Authorization to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- PCA, CNA, or Nursing Assistant certification
- Previous experience in home care, healthcare, or caregiving
Responsibilities
- Personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Safe transfers and mobility assistance
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Meal planning, preparation, and feeding support
- Light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Companionship and emotional support
- Medication reminders
- Following individualized care plans
- Accurate completion of required documentation
