About The Position

Providence Place of Chambersburg is seeking compassionate individuals to join their team as caregivers. In this role, you will assist elderly residents with various needs, including personal care, dining services, and companionship. The residents' care levels range from Independent Living to Personal Care (requiring assistance with dressing, bathing, or mobility) and specialized dementia care. The ideal candidate is reliable, enjoys helping the elderly, and works well in a team environment. Providence Place is committed to employee development and providing high-quality care to residents.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Reliable.
• Willing to work as part of a great team.
• Must be able to work every other weekend/every other holiday.
• Entry Level position - training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist elderly residents with daily living activities such as dressing and bathing.
• Provide assistance with mobility.
• Serve as a dining server.
• Act as a companion and friend to residents.
• Provide care in Independent Living, Personal Care, and dementia care settings.
