Personal Care Aide (PCA) – In-Home Senior Care

Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Current auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must have 2 years of caregiving experience
- Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius of your home address
- Comfortable working with both male and female clients
- Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Compassionate, dependable, and supportive demeanor
Responsibilities
- Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support to elderly clients in their homes
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, showering, toileting, and dressing, while always preserving each client's dignity and respect
- Providing medication reminders
- Assisting with mobility both inside and outside the home, including walks, errands, and doctor's appointments
- Planning and preparing meals
- Completing grocery shopping or accompanying clients while they shop
- Performing light housekeeping to help create a safe and comfortable home environment
- Observing, reporting, and responding appropriately to changes in a client's condition or emergencies
- Encouraging and assisting with activities that are essential to daily living while promoting independence and enhancing quality of life
