About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Aid (PCA) to provide essential home care services to the elderly and disabled. This role involves assisting clients in their homes with daily living activities, personal care, and light housekeeping to enhance their quality of life, dignity, and independence. The position requires reliability, responsibility, and a willingness to travel between clients' homes. The job offers flexible scheduling options based on client availability.

Requirements

At least 18 years old
Access to internet
Must have valid Driver's license
Must have reliable on-hand Vehicle
Ability to write, read, and speak English fluently
Tech-savvy (Navigate digital app)

Nice To Haves

HHA/CNA – Home Health Aide certification

Responsibilities

Attend agency orientation, in-service education programs, and staff meetings.
Practice safety and competency within the job description.
Communicate with the agency about problems and concerns.
Comply with State/Federal regulatory acts and agency policies.
Communicate with office staff regarding scheduling of home health services to clients.
Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely basis.
Respect and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
Report concerns of client abuse or neglect.
Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training procedures.
Document in Communication Book.
Cleaning and changing bed linens.
Cleaning floors with mop and/or vacuuming.
Cleaning bathroom and kitchen.
Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
Laundering and ironing client clothes.
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
Assist with transferring (bed/chair), walking, and preventing falls.
Grocery shopping and running errands.
Provide social interaction, engage in activities, and offer emotional support.
Supervise and assist in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
