About The Position

Homewatch CareGivers is seeking an in-home Caregiver near its Glendora location. The role provides compassionate support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain safety, comfort, independence, and engagement. Caregivers build meaningful relationships with clients and update office staff on client progress using the Care app as needed. The agency emphasizes a holistic, person-directed approach and offers training through its online learning platform.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Must pass background checks and DMV checks and have a negative TB test.
• Ability to meet quality standards of care and follow standard procedures.
• At least 1 year of personal or professional caregiving experience.
• Home Care Aide (HCA) registration; the agency will assist with the registration process if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care with a compassionate and caring attitude.
• Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as walking, grooming, and bathing.
• Assist clients with errands, appointments, and social activities.
• Use the Care app to update office staff on client progress as needed.
