Requirements

  • Associates degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field desired.
  • 2-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Interpret and use data for decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise savings employees in the office by providing coaching, motivation, and recognition.
  • Assist the office leadership with goal setting to achieve Bank goals.
  • Provide input at savings meetings and shares ideas in developing and maintaining savings products and services.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings, assuring that staff is engaged.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations, and consumer privacy policies.
  • Open various new accounts, process necessary information, and educate the customers as to services/products available.
  • Interview lending customers to obtain financial history.
  • Analyze information and sell customers on the products and services that best meet their needs.
  • Prepare personal loan applications completely, accurately, and in accordance with Federal guidelines and the Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Consistently inform and sell customers on credit life and disability insurance and GAP insurance.
  • Use every customer contact as an opportunity to advise customer about additional services or programs that may benefit them.
  • Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Personal Banking.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Leverage the strengths of the team members, help clarify roles and responsibilities, and develop and implement training and development in order to maximize and reach optimal individual and Bank goals.
  • Interview, hire, and train team members; plan, assign, and direct work; give real-time feedback to team members; recognize, reward, and discipline team members; address complaints; and resolve problems.
  • Ensure team members are kept current on issues affecting job-related duties, responsibilities, and trends on a consistent basis.
