Personal Banking Advisor (Seventeenth Street Office)
About The Position
We are currently seeking a full-time Personal Banking Advisor (PBA) to join our Seventeenth Street Office team in Altoona, PA. As a Personal Banking Advisor, you'll get to be the first point of contact for our customers when they visit our branch or call the branch for assistance. You will work hands-on with other branch team members to provide an exceptional customer experience. You will build relationships with our customers and connect them with products and services that support their financial goals. You will help new customers become acquainted with our bank and our services. You will perform a variety of day-to-day operational tasks, from basic cash handling to more complex transactions. Leverage your talents and skill set to help achieve bank-wide goals. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who would like to begin a career in Banking or Financial Services. All Personal Banking Advisors begin their employment by completing an in-depth, hands-on training program with our dedicated bank Training Specialist. Requirements
- High School diploma
- At least two (2) years' of strong customer service experience.
- General interest in the financial services industry
- Desire to develop a long-term employment relationship.
- Passion for problem-solving and working with people
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative work environment.
- Proficient computer knowledge and ability to learn bank-specific software
- Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing
- Visual and auditory skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time; bend; stoop; and lift items of up to 25 lbs.
