Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for their National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. This role involves delivering an exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers achieve financial success. The Personal Banker will assist customers with fundamental tasks such as opening new accounts, processing service requests, and submitting credit applications. They will operate under managerial guidance, exercising judgment within established policies and procedures, and will develop a strong understanding of bank products and services to effectively meet customer needs. The position requires direct customer interaction to foster relationships and provide suitable banking options, as well as referring customers to other bankers and partners when necessary for more complex financial needs. As a SAFE position, it involves customer contact and duties that may include offering/negotiating terms and/or taking applications for dwelling-secured transactions, necessitating compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Continued employment is contingent upon meeting these requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Individuals in this SAFE position must also fulfill the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO).
