About The Position

In this role, you'll serve as a trusted financial partner for our members, taking time to understand their needs and recommending solutions that help them succeed. You'll combine relationship-building, financial guidance, and problem-solving to create exceptional member experiences while contributing to branch growth and success. Day to day, you'll: Build relationships with members by identifying financial needs and recommending appropriate products and services. Support deposit and lending activities, including account openings, loan applications, and ongoing member service. Collaborate with branch and business partners to connect members with specialized solutions that support their financial goals.

Requirements

  • Experience working directly with customers in a service-focused environment.
  • Experience discussing products, identifying needs, and recommending solutions.
  • Ability to support lending and deposit-related activities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to build rapport and conduct meaningful financial conversations with members.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain financial products and services in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Knowledge of basic credit underwriting concepts.
  • Ability to resolve member concerns and deliver excellent service recovery.
  • Proficiency with personal computer systems and digital banking tools.
  • College degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Ability to obtain NMLS registration under the SAFE Act upon hire.
  • Ability to obtain Notary appointment within 3 months of hire.
  • Comfortable balancing member service, sales conversations, and operational responsibilities in a fast-paced branch environment while adapting to changing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Three or more years of experience in retail, banking, or financial services.
  • Previous sales experience with a track record of identifying customer needs and recommending solutions.
  • Previous consumer lending experience.
  • Experience working with IRA products and services.
