About The Position

At PNC, the Personal Banker role within the Retail Banking organization is based in Springfield, IL. PNC operates as an in-office company, promoting a collaborative and supportive culture where employees can thrive. The position is crucial for acquiring and deepening the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. It involves managing the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer's financial well-being and collaborating with ecosystem partners to expand the customer's share of wallet. The Personal Banker is responsible for positioning PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty. This includes driving proactive sales conversations through various internal and outbound interactions, such as outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement, all aimed at elevating client loyalty. The role also entails delivering comprehensive PNC conversations with every client interaction to identify appropriate PNC solutions, leveraging ecosystem partnerships, and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships. A key aspect is creating customer loyalty and growing customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience. The Personal Banker performs lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs, and educates customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools, and resources. Furthermore, the role requires applying product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively to drive customer loyalty. Managing risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits, and showing heightened scrutiny to identify and avoid loss are also critical. Finally, the Personal Banker participates in branch daily operations, ensuring they are completed efficiently and accurately.

Requirements
