About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join its National Branch in Sioux City, Iowa. This frontline role builds customer relationships through in-branch interactions, scheduled conversations, and proactive outreach. The banker learns about customers’ goals and connects them with relevant banking products, services, and digital tools. The role supports account openings, service requests, and credit applications while collaborating with branch teammates to provide a consistent customer experience. Success requires relationship-building skills, sound judgment, and balancing service with growth. Wells Fargo provides training and coaching to support career growth and mobility. The position supports everyday banking and branch operations, including cash handling and teller-line activities. It requires working a schedule that includes Saturdays and flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities, with an emphasis on account openings and ongoing account support. SAFE registration is required at employment; Wells Fargo initiates the process after the start date. Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and comply with Wells Fargo policies concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background. A credit report may be reviewed, excluding the credit score, and additional ongoing screening may apply. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.
SAFE registration is required at the time of employment; Wells Fargo will initiate the process after the start date.
Loan Originators must meet LO/CFPB requirements and Wells Fargo policies concerning financial responsibility, character, fitness, and criminal background.
Employees are expected to follow applicable policies and procedures, fulfill risk and compliance obligations, escalate and remediate issues, and make sound risk decisions.

Deliver accurate, compliant service and exercise sound judgment within defined risk controls.
Collaborate with branch teammates to coordinate handoffs to licensed bankers or other specialists so customers receive the appropriate expertise.
Support branch operations by flexing between cash handling and customer banking activities.
