About The Position
The Personal Banker provides personalized banking services to financial institution customers by performing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Cash handling experience.
- Basic computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Prior banking experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates needs of potential customers and offers appropriate financial products and services.
- Evaluates new customer account applications and opens new accounts when all compliance requirements are satisfied.
- Provides ongoing relationship servicing with current customers to maintain goodwill and gain additional business.
- Maintains resolution files for businesses.
- Assists customers with resolution of debit card issues by performing research, filing disputes, and reissuing cards when necessary.
- Responds to customer inquiries and requests regarding accounts.
- Promotes and cross-sells other establishment products and services such as Internet Banking, Trust, and Investment Services.
- Evaluates the branches weekly overdrawn accounts report and takes the necessary action to return accounts to good standing.
- Performs teller duties and assist loan department, as needed.
